Schemata Workshop is developing a future home and office on an in-fill site in the vibrant neighborhood of Capitol Hill. This proposal is the result of a close collaboration between all team members working toward the goal of a high-quality, affordable, quickly-erected building that can be easily disassembled. The design uses component building for a 2,000 sf, two-level building: an architecture studio on the ground level with an apartment above. The new structure minimizes ground disturbance and required site work with a foundation of six auger-cast concrete piers.
