Lazy Bum Lodge
Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. - Henry David Thoreau, Walden (1854)

Along with the quote above, the clients described this project in the following three words: modern, rustic, cozy. A place for the owners--with friends and restaurant staff--to use as a getaway from the city.
