Camp Indianola
Designing a centered environment for engagement and exploration

As a pro bono project Schemata Workshop worked with Camp Indianola to re-envision parts of the campus as well as an aging bunk house. Focusing on the campus as a whole, Schemata Workshop helped to improve circulation and define a center by providing a communal gathering space which would act as the heart of the camp. Efforts related to the bunk house, known as Chak Chak, focused on creating a stronger sense of arrival, improving efficiency and capacity by providing clarity to existing floor plans, and providing more usable spaces with natural light. Schemata provided a marketing packet which included plans, inspirational images, and renderings which would help Camp Indianola in their fundraising efforts.
