Cedar Commons
shaping a connected neighborhood

After purchasing three adjacent properties, Habitat for Humanity influenced the City of Port Townsend to vacate the adjacent existing rights-of-way to allow for a contiguous 3.4 acre site with parking accommodated by newly- created streets at the periphery.  Schemata Workshop designed the master plan to maximize the number of units by utilizing fourplex townhomes while maintaining trees and open space and prioritizing pedestrian connectivity.
