Geoff Anderson brings to the firm a passion for affordable multifamily housing, along with expertise in aquatic centers, and parks & recreation facilities. As Founder and current Chair of AIA Washington’s Livability & Affordability Committee, he advocates for policies on affordable housing, transportation, and responsible growth in Washington state. His work on behalf of the state’s AIA chapter recently earned him the Jennie Sue Brown Award for service to the profession.
Joining Schemata Workshop is an opportunity for Geoff to grow professionally while strengthening the work of the practice. He and founding Principal Grace Kim have worked together at prior offices, and their individual companies have collaborated on projects since 2004. Geoff’s role will include not only managing projects and mentoring staff, but also overseeing quality control for project delivery.
For the past 15 years, Geoff was the managing principal and owner of ORB Architects in Renton, which merged with INNOVA Architects in Tacoma in 2015.
