Geoff Anderson (he/him)joined Schemata Workshop in 2019 as a principal. He brings to the firm a passion for affordable multifamily housing, along with expertise in aquatic/pool related project and other work associated with parks & recreation facilities. He and founding Principal Grace Kim have worked together at prior offices, and their individual companies have collaborated on projects since 2004.

As Founder and current Chair of AIA Washington’s Livability & Affordability Committee, he advocates for policies on affordable housing, transportation, and responsible growth in Washington state. His work on behalf of the state’s AIA chapter recently earned him the Jennie Sue Brown Award for service to the profession.

Geoff is a strong advocate for mentoring within the office and to the profession as a whole. Until recently, he Chaired the Laddership mentoring program for AIA Seattle, and has maintained a mentoring group of young architecture professionals for nearly 20 years.  Joining Schemata Workshop is an opportunity for Geoff to grow professionally and share his knowledge, all while strengthening the work of the practice.
