A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Margaret Tyson moved to the Pacific Northwest eight years ago, attracted to the climate and landscape, and the progressive, creative community of Seattle. She has a BA and an EMBA from TCU, and has spent her career in business management, focusing primarily on progressive causes and nonprofits. Outside of work, Margaret volunteers every week at the Seattle Animal Shelter and spends quite a lot of time exploring the local food scene, often in her own kitchen.
